Bitch Bitch Bitch

Sorry everyone, but that's about all I got for you this week. Work has been kicking my ass recently and I'm a little ragged. And even though I try to make it a point not to bitch and moan in my column, I'm cracking this week. Here are some things that have pissed me off recently.

1) Why is it that every time I have to go to movie I have to sit through one of those dopey "please don't pirate movies" commercials? They're preaching to the crowd. I paid my $7, get off your damn high horse and show me the film.

2) Speaking of movies, where are all the good ones at? Seriously, has
there been one break out good movie that people have been telling their friends to go see all year? The Passion of Christ does not count because Mel Gibson knows how to play the Christian zealots in this country. I honestly saw a group of Southern Baptists load into a bus to go see it and have a prayer session one Sunday afternoon.

3) Bubba Ho-tep - I don't care what the hipster movie freak tells you at the coffee shop in the town you live in, the movie sucks. I saw it and I never want to see it again.  I saw it with a bunch of clove smoking goons and almost broke into tears at the sheer crappiness of it. There's a reason that it took two years for it to find a distributor.

4) Why is goddamned Word fucking with me right now?

5) Why do I have this ever increasing urge to buy a Sublime CD and why don't they already have out a definitive hits CD?

6) Bands that Suck and I hear all the time:

a) Staind - fucking shoot yourselves already
b) New Found Glory - talentless & ugly is more like it
c) U2 - sorry, but these guys have been sucking for about a decade now
d) Most rap/hip hop acts - sampled beats are fresh and street and not jacked up at all

7) Talking on the phone for more than 20 minutes at any given time
usually sours me as well.

8) People who judge their self worth by the shit they own even though no one else gives a shit.

9) Atlanta - the headquarters for the South East Chapter of Ass Clowns Across America. I will be leaving the North Georgia area in about a year.

10) Politicians - I'm supposed to vote for these motherfuckers? They'll
supposed to lead my country? What a joke.

That's all for this week. I'll be back to my old self in a few weeks. In the mean time, here is a screen play that Ryan and I wrote a few years ago but haven't done anything with. It's a little out there, but feel free to tell me what you think. It's called BUDDIES. It's not quite a masterpiece, but it's ours.
